Is there anybody here from France ?

I use what we call in france ADSL (maybe called DSL in the USA), very reliable and pretty fast, 29 euros per month with unlimited free phone calls on french territory and cheap calls toward foreign countries.
The supplier is: club internet, there is also wannadoo.

I work on a trading method on the 1 minute time frame on forex, I will let every one know it when I will begin to use it and test it with real money : the basics are simple : watch a trend begin thanks to moving averages, waiting for a pullback then get in, we will see if it can be done on forex, the problem is the spread that makes scalping on forex more difficult than scalping on e mini nasdaq....

Hey, this thread is still going...

Last year I invited any traders in the Nice area to visit for a Christmas party at my place in Villfranche and we had a blast.

PM me if you want to come this year. We'll end up in Monaco again, and if anyone has Claudia's number please PM immediately or sooner.

The weather is about 3 degrees, cold as hell, I can't believe it, (about 38 to Americans). This can be fixed with some cognac

Does anyone from Paris knows if there is already a
wireless internet connection that covers the center
of Paris ?

I don't live in Paris (not since childhood) but I still visit often and have close relatives there.

There are WiFi hotspots in Paris at cafes, near hospitals and at a few hotels.

I can't remember the names of them that my cousin talked about.

However, I do remember him saying he found out about them via google search.

A few months ago I picked up a connection on Boulevard Vincent Auriol.

Quote from tradenut:

I would tend to disagree whith this rudness thing here.
If you go in France and even attemp to speak the language you will find very friendly people. If you go with an attitude like a lot of tourist and say you need to speak my language and disrespect their way of life then you are in for an uphill battle.
I have seen how some visitors in France and other countries behave for that matter and I would respond to them in exactly the same maner.

I found the people in France to be friendly although my sister did most of the speaking in bad but comprehendible french .

Man I hate it when mexicans speak to me in spanish around here. I have no idea what they are saying.

Isn't it just common sense that if you are going to speak to me in an unknown foreign lanugage that you should try speaking slowly, using body language, and better pronounciation.

Don't just mumble something to me with a straight face. gheesh. annoys the hell outta me.
