Is there anybody here from France ?

Quote from tradenut:

Well let me see, I speak French, English, German ,Italien, Spanish, learning chinese.....so lets see.....

If you master all these in the manner you write the English language, you don't appear to be equipped to argue about "precision" in language.

I love them all, Bacj is one great genius, Mozart though was Autrian. Wagner ...well I wont go there :)

Let me add some more, Paganini, Guiseppe Verdi, Antonio Vivaldi, Giacomo Rossini, but then we could also move to Russia, with Peter Illich Tschaikovski, Igor Stravinski, or Poland with Frederic Chopin (to many think heis french) back to Germany you forgot Ludwig von Beethoven, Finland with Jean Sibelius, export to the US with Dvorak...so all over Europe they came.
Lets not forget the US greats as in Aaron Coplan, George Gerschin, etc.
Oh yes lets not forget the great BB King other stile but still one of the greats.
In order world Music is universal.
They communicate in an international language.

No, no, no. They are national composers. You can HEAR that Sibelius is Nordic and not French or Italian.

PS. Yes, Mozart was born in Salzburg.

PPS. You forgot Puccini.

Wow, how could I do that . sorry :)
You are right they all reflected they own origin in their writing. This is what makes them great.

Yes, I agree. Wagner was German, and he made German music. A composer from Italy or France could not have done that.

PS. You also forgot Grieg.:D

I'm a US citizen but was born in France, moved to NYC when i was less than a year old but i have maintained a dual citizenship. I live in Florida now and was looking to go back to France and trade there possibly during the summers. I've been looking in the Paris and Marseille area and real estate is far cheaper than over here on in New York, renting or buying. What's the internet like? I trade Nasdaq stocks and rely sometimes on very fast executions. I was looking at either renting a place there for 3-4 months or maybe just buying a place there and just using it when i wanted to. Can one trade the US markets from France, daytrade them at least? i trade usually around 50,000 shares and up a day and i like to stay active. The time difference would be ideal i think, especially since most of what i do is off of the open. I could deal with working from 3:30 to 6 or so lol. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
