Is there anybody here from France ?

Quote from atorchio:

In order to gather residency in Monaco one has to show proof of living there, i.e. rent or buy an house/flat.

Real estate is probably amongst the most expensive worldwide.

bullshit you can get a studio with a sea view for like 1k

Quote from imc:

My brother has lived and worked in Monaco for 4 years now, not as a trader though.
I took him about a year to get residency status and I think he said it cost about a 1000 euros all in.

I could ask him for the finer details if anybody is interested.
Monaco - superb place to live!

IMC, please do get details, i would like to know firsthand, and would appreciate the info...

The thing about living in France, is it really is living......

Best Regards from Villefranche Sur Mer.

I trade Nas equities from here, work evenings then supper, this time zone is perfect for me. Only problem is my income in in USD and my costs are in Euros, so I'm having to work a little harder these days with current exchange rates.

Love Americans and especially Canadians. You can still get sea view rooms with small balconies at the Hotel Riviera for 50 Euros in high season. Visit anytime.

1,000 Euro is definitely on the low end but it can be done.

Most of the cheap studios with a sea view are in the tall skyscraper that is at least a handful of blocks strait in from Larvotto. Don't remember the name of the building though as its been a while since I looked into flats there.

i will now accept your humble apology, and acknowledgement of the fact that regardless of where you live, you don't know what you are talking about....thus, regardless of the details you 'gived' you are wrong and reading your posts would be a misnomer to anyone interested in monaco....apology accepted....
