Is there any risk in using antiperspirants or deodorants?

I remember having this discussion in my college biology class decades ago. Since sweating is a normal process in the body, the instructor told us that antiperspirants were potentially unhealthy because they blocked or in some way suppressed the release of sweat. But a lot of people use antiperspirants and you don't hear about a lot of health problems, so maybe not so bad.

Yes; just make sure not to put stuff designed for underarms, all over yourself. SpeaKING of risk reward, too risky for me not to use anything.Someone gave me some organic stuff .......

By far the largest contributor of aluminum in U.S. diets is baking powder. No adverse affects form ingestion of small amounts of aluminum have ever been identified.

We still don't know what causes cancer. Preservatives in processed food? Fluoride in water? Aluminum in deodorant? Who knows???

the best and cheapest deodorant is MOM, even after you have a hard workout, and the sweat has dried on your underarms, and you stink, dab some MOM and instantly the order vanishes, and any new perspiration is odor neutralized!! Healthy too, for heart etc
