Probably because there is no demand.

I remember seeing some lower $ value etf correlated to spy, like SPLG... but no daily expirations.

MES future options is probably the lowest notional value you can go for 0dte on sp500

multi legs strategies are very expensive when trading this low notional value, as fees can make up for a serious %
