Is there a free website to scan for news?

Yahoo finance seems to be late on the news. Is there any other site that displays the news so that i can get in before everyone else does?

To be honest, many of us feel exactly like that about most of his threads ... o_O

(Nothing wrong with asking for a "good news site", of course ... it's the "so I can get in before everyone else" bit that's laughable.)
 
You will have to pay top dollar if you want lightning fast news access.

As a retail trader it probably is a waste of time trying to trade fundamentals short term since 95% of the time (if not more) you will be too late, even with decent news sources.
 
I normally read cnbc cnn news ... (headlines only), and get the economic calender from forexfactory.

I don't pay serious attention to the news.
Because news are mostly delayed, at times inaccurate and biased, and it contaminates our mind and could affect our trading decision.

I read news for entertainment purpose;
I'd laugh at how inaccurate, how poor reasoning news writers were.



Where is the best source of news ?
The best source of news is actually from the chart itself.
