that's not the point. the lights would be out because the city couldn't afford them and streets would be constantly laden with criminals roaming the dark streets. go to most parts of africa or some other whole in the wall country and you'll see what i mean. place where they live in shacks that are falling apart. i don't see that in the US.Quote from Gringinho:

alot of these people that bad mouth the US come from countries that traffic people and sell them. hardly compares with the United States. Some of the Europeans have their head shoved up their ass they couldn't even comprehend what America is like although many of them are ok with the exception of the one's that are always running their mouth. The big mouth one's are usually the closet nazis. crap at least this isn't like East Berlin or Russia. Well, I've been to Anaheim, LA, SF, San Jose, Denver, Vale, Dillon, Keystone and Atlanta.
Professional and leisure. Of course the US is not a third world country, although it has some really poor places.
I've also visited around 170 other cities in roughly 30 countries around the world. I guess you can say the same...

these are financial attributes of 3rd world countries. attributes ie collapsing financial institutions , long term decline in the value of currency and government lying about the rate of inflation.
