Is the mkt open today?

I actually did that a month ago when we rolled over. I changed my data over on my charts (I now use the continuous contract), but did not adjust to the Sept. contract in TWS. A very frustrating and stupid mistake.
LOL Sarasota!

No worries mate, no Schadenfreude here. :D

It's a mistake that a lot of futs traders do once...
Or how else would you explain the fact that there's still some chart action going on on rollover day contracts? :p

The problem is that its a rookie mistake. I made it for the first time about 3 years into my trading!!!

Any interesting comments on the ES chart?

With all the things other than the actual price on the chart, it kind of looks like a cluster F@CK to me (haha). What are the circles for? How Do they help you make money?

LOL. Sorry about the price - ET's file size limit is a bitch.

Fib circles are very powerful exhaustion resistance/support guides. Price tends to follow them in a ridiculously obedient way.

Basically, they're sort of a combination of fib time vs fib price, like a fibonacci retracement combined with fib time.
However, a fib price/time grid isn't as accurate, in that it doesn't factor in the human greed/fear factor.

The slope of the fib circles, however, does just that.

They're almost a secret tool of mine. I don't know anybody else who uses them, but they work amazingly well. Try it.
