Oil was becoming too problematic for the "risk on" trade. All it took was one of the Fed cronies to insinuate that the markets expectations of QE3 were too robust...just a few days after Bullet Ben didn't give the market what it wanted.

Of course now the news is chasing the market and all the garbage out of the Eurozone that was deemed irrelevant for 2+ months suddenly seems kinda important.
