Is the larger time frame overrated?

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:

The big money is in holding, not short time frames.

Take the same exact profitable trading system, apply it to 15 min chart and let's say, the daily or the weekly charts.

At the end you will end up with much more money buying/selling on the 15 min charts.

Believe it... or not.

Those that consider fast timeframes unreadable or crowded with noise, simply don't know how to read them or don't know what to look for.

Absolutely.

Here is a chart.

What time frame is that? The 1 minute? 5 min? 15 min? 30 min? 1H? 2H? 4H? 8H? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?

No one can tell.

And yet all the charts describe the same battle between the bears and the bulls, on every possible time frame, due to the fractal nature of the market.

Show me a profitable 15 min trading system and I will reconsider.

I could show you in the 30 seconds chart provided you had the same knowledge for the 15min.

Point is, the good stuff, works in all timeframes.
