What's nice about staring at discord and crypto twitter is that something like this gets mentioned, and like the degen that I am, of course aped in and kept buying when it dipped, now paying off quite nicely, :rolleyes:

The difficulty with these meme coins is that you'd be crazy to wager anything more than a miniscule % of your TNW on them. The risk of them crashing and burning is too high, and they move so fast that you might not be able to get out in time to prevent an enormous loss.

If you (wisely) only bet peanuts on them, then even a 1000% return doesn't add up to much in terms of TNW.

No, this is like trading, you know, you gamble with what you can afford to lose

For example, I put in about $7k, took out $12k after 4 hours and let the rest ride... or if you don't like the ride no more, you sell everything

Yep, as long as you treat it as gambling for fun, then no problem.

Unfortunately some folks won't treat it this way, and will learn the hard way. Some may even up with more of a problem than just losing money.
