I have a very small holding that spiked by 40% yesterday.

Couldnt find any news to support the move.

Its actually spiked more than the 40% but has held pretty steady around the 40.

I never heard of it, but yea, it's a pretty solid gain, and the price increase is confirmed by the increase in trading volume

The non-bitcoin crypto assets have been on fire since bitcoin has been going up the past few weeks and they have outperformed bitcoin

Good call. It crashed down to $22,540, slowly rising to $22,750 atm

It could be but volume is low at this time. My chart has turned bullish so adjusted a closing price to a little above break-even

For instance, you know now that whenever price tanks like in the chart I've posted, it will eventually climb back up. So you can simply fade the selloff and ride the bounce up.
