Is the crypto winter over?

On the btc perp futures, bitcoin hit above $31k

I'm going to try something on the next round number, sell and then buy back when it pulls back

I have an order to close the position at $32,010

From 31K it retraced back down to 30K today, and now trading at 30,400. Do you think we will hit 32K first or 28K first? If we trade below 30K, I think there's a good chance it will go down to 28K before flipping back around.

Definitely 32k first, and don't think we'll go below 29k, I don't know how you're seeing that in the chart

I'm long 5 btc perp futures now, talking my book, but skin in the game, too

If btc goes below 30k, would you put a short position to play the odds you think will happen?

Actually, no. The payoff is too low. I would rather go long if it ever reaches my buy stop at 28.8K. However, I do plan on shorting once we get up to 33K FYI. :)

90% of Canadian REITs pay out their dividends this weekend. Is it too much to ask to pray for a crypto-market collapse by 9:30 eastern on Monday morning?

Please???

You guys have had enough of this ridiculous rally... let's give the perma-bears a chance to come back out from under the rock they were hiding. Fair is fair...be nice!

Sarcastic you. :sneaky:

During crypto winters, it is profitable to short every rally

During crypto bull market (summer), it is profitable to btfd or switch between btc and alts

You'd have made a lot of profits if you were shorting btc last year 2022

You obviously don't believe me that we're in a bitcoin bull market, is there a level you would believe me? $50K? $100K?

I am still very bullish on crypto, but I refuse to trade/accumulate heavily in it for two reasons.

  1. I am already very heavily invested in this, (which doubles as a hedge against my banks.)
  2. Commercial real estate is burning down worse than TGFC, so I want to accumulate.
My priorities of (long bets) have not changed over the last few months:

  1. Deep Discounted REITs.
  2. Long-Term Canadian Federal Bonds
  3. Crypto Assets:
  • Registered Exchanges & Conglomerates
  • Spot-Value BlueChips

Now that I think of it though, that isn't quite correct. I'm buying more heavily into crypto equities over bonds. Very little spot-crypto though.

Interesting.Thanks.

I actually thought you were a semi-sceptic re crypto.
