That stuff is all ops normal. After 50 plus years of day in day out, ...it can hardly be classified as a "confrontational atmosphere".

Reminds me of a court case where a woman stabbed her husband to death and was tried for murder until the jury heard and saw the evidence how her husband had been beating and raping her for 20 years before she finally had enough and gutted him.

WTF? lol....Thats probably not the best apple to apple comparison with regards to tactical interactions between the Russian and U.S. Navy's post WWII.

There's a very high degree of mutual respect out there.

I was just making the point that bad behavior, no matter how accepted, is eventually not accepted - for a whole bunch of potential reasons. Not the least of which could be that when administrations change, or feel emboldened, consequences finally bear fruit.
