CNBC represents the consensus of the typical retail investor pretty damn well.

They are almost always wrong as well!

The down swing was doing just fine until permabears like S2007, BuyLo, and Mr. Dodge started yapping and jinxed the damn thing LOL.

I would hate to be those guys right about now.

I should stop bothering with ISEE index and just check ET polls. This was one of the best contrarian indicator I've witnessed on ET.
 
S&P takes out the July lows with an eye popping single day drop.

Told you the odds of July being the bottom, and making it a very small baby bear market were slim.
