Another thing that comes to my mind, is that stocks are expected to grow in the long term.
Also as an asset class they are extremely granular - tons of industries, companies, etc.
I would say we can get more emotionally attached to a stock in comparison to a fx pair. Talking about long term holding, of course.

Yes, both are different. Stock trading involves buying and selling stocks of individual companies listed on a stock exchange, while forex trading involves buying and selling currencies traded in the foreign exchange market.
This is obvious yes, the topic start might ask about the difference in terms of price behaviour. In my view stocks mean returns are skewed to some positive value and their distribution has fatter tails while currency returns resemble lognormal distribution better.
