This is the problem the left has. They live in an hermetically sealed echo chamber, one where Obama was an outstanding president, Hillary was above reproach and Trump is clearly Hitler or worse. When they venture out and encounter normal people who point out how crazy their ideas are, they are confused, disoriented and revert to their default mode, attack.
It was somewhat amusing if a bit tiresome, like the in-laws five year old who won't shut up, but now they have taken an ominous turn. Instead of moving back to the center to appeal to voters other than transgender minority illegal aliens, they have decided that not only is Trump Hitler but anyone who supports him is a Nazi and of course, it is acceptable, even laudatory, to physically attack Nazis. So far, it has been largely confined to leftwing shithole cities where the cops protect them. Sooner or later however it will have to be dealt with.
