Is Ross Cameron from Warrior Trading P&L statement is legit?

I saw about 1/2 the video.

When he got into paper trading/sim he lost me.

I don't buy it. Without spending hour/days talking about dark pools and MMs, he is setting traders up for failure.

I think a week or so I saw one guy on here talking about simulating for 10 years. He did 6 months of paper trading, then did 3 days of day trading!! He was wondering why his bid/asks were so different?? Really...Really???

Supposedly he has a paid chatroom where he trades live and chat members watch him do it. I would think it would be hard to fake his daily P/L in such a situation. He says he's made about 700k so far this year and over 10.5m the last 9 or so years. Why does he keep making videos? Probably because he's like Humble Trader et al and realized he can make more from so-called training/education and youtube than actual trading. I'm sure the guy makes a shit ton of money from "stuff" he does outside of actual trading.

The Federal Trade Commission is cracking down on the Warrior Trading day trading investment scheme for making misleading and unrealistic claims of big investment gains to consumers. The FTC alleges that Warrior Trading and its CEO, Ross Cameron, used those claims to convince consumers to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for a trading system that ultimately failed to pay off for most customers.

seen this type of tag team promotion here on et 1000's of times one guy starts the thread and then come the minions if not the same guy in fact.

again with proof of a independent audit - no trust or praise should be given or sought out.

can only assume that everyone on here who touts this guy is involved with the scam.

1-His end of day trading equity on 02/jan/2024 was $116,480, why his trading account so small, where all that $10M gone ? did he buy villa, land, cars and other luxuries ?

2- Is there a law in United state that forbids people from publishing false P&L?

3- If he is consistent profitable, why he still bothers making YouTube video and doesn't trade for large institutions ? Does he even get time for sleep !!

1. His strategy is not scalable, so he doesn’t need to hold for day trading. It makes sense to just invest the money passively.

2. Yes you are not allowed to make false claims. The 3M settlement, in my opinion was just to get SEC off his back. I didn’t read that his mis-stated his returns, just that his marketing was misleading.

3. He can’t trade for large institutions because they don’t want to be involved with low float stocks and his strategy can’t handle serious money.

I've noticed here lately he's usually cranked out a new video by noon. The trading day is barely half over and he's already got a recap video out. Wrap up his trading early so he can go enjoy his new found wealth I guess. He seems to take a vacation to the Caribbean,or wherever once a month.

For goodness sake, stop going around the whole world looking for
such PL statements.

There are thousands of such fantastic PL statements.
And you will be wasting your time trying to figure out whether it is genuine or not.

I'm a newbie trader and trying to learn the ropes. I have been following his videos online and refuse to buy into any education programs on trading that costs $1000s. I don't have much and trying to make some profit on what little I have.

I did hear him state that his profits are independently audited. By whom I do not know. I do take any advise with a grain of salt. I also googled him and found he was investigated and fined by the FTC for making claims he shouldn't have. https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/new...isleading-consumers-false-investment-promises

I think most successfully traders move into education about trading hoping to make even more money. Ross did state in one video, he also invests in real estate properties.

I do think his advise in the videos he has posted seem sound. However repeating it consistently is definitely an art.
This guy is legit...is in the top 20 tax payers in Sweden (it is public record). Doesn't sell any courses...lots of free content. Ultimately, his advice is do your own research and work your ass off.
