I think people were "chased around by dinosaurs" as much as people today are chased around by rhinos, lions and elephants. Its very logical to assume that dinosaurs acted like every other animal on this planet. When they see a group of humans, they rarely bother them. Its also a safe bet that humans stayed pretty far away from known dinosaur feeding grounds and trails. I mean most people dont live near lions dens today or elephants trails, right? How many of you have ever seen a wild rhino, elephant or lion? Probably back then it was just as rare to see a dinosaur out in the open. You really dont see wild animals unless you are going out looking for them.
