Whether our current immigration policies are a net positive for us financially is open for debate. But, that is not the subject I care about. I could handle a net negative because we are helping others if our votes were not getting diluted so that the cronies could extract the wealth from the citizens who were already here.

The US is a nation of immigrants. That is what defines it perhaps more than any other single thing. Further, the economy could not survive, let alone thrive, without immigration. It would not be sustainable. Even in strictly fiscal terms, immigration is a net positive. So should only those people whose ancestors arrived on the Mayflower be allowed to vote? Show me your papers.
