I'm new to trading. Wikipedia says that NYSE market session is 09:30 - 16:00 but I have noticed using TWS demo account that GOOGL stock for example moves even overnight (00:00 - 6:00 am) is this possible?

Well irregular trading can be irregular; but not likely
Even if it was ; for practical purposes, unless youre doing REAL ESTATE, where one unit can be a big deal; better figure on reasonable[regular hours/volume]
