Is my career over?

No. It's not.

That is your problem.

Lack of patience.

If everything good needs to come to you either at your pace or not at all, it will always be the latter.

You may make a few million on your way up trading the way you do, but you will certainly lose it all, eventually, if you never learn patience.

Either learn this lesson now while the going's cheap -- or learn it the hard, hard, way later on.

Just my .02

Thank you so much for that. Here is my philosophy on life: there is nothing I am incapable of; there's nothing I can't have if I want it badly enough. Now suppose that I am wrong; that there are limits, caps to my success. If my cap is 400% a month then I will come close to that number in my life because my attitude is such that I let limits define themselves. But if I subscribe to the consensus that 50% a year is impossible in the investment industry, then do you think I'll come anywhere near where my true potential is (let's say 400% a month)? In that case I won't even come close to 50% most likely.

I believe I do have patience. I let my profits ride for long periods of time. Problem is, I also let my losses mount in the same way. I need to learn how to cut my losses immediately.

Thanks so much for your comments.

You watch too much tv my man. Wanting to be a great trader doesn't mean your going to be one though.

And please, lets not refer to you as a trader as you so said. You are a professional gambler.

So go gamble.

Don't tell us about it, go do it. I personally don't understand why you continue to give me this great material to print out, it's literally hard to keep up with. But I appreciate it. This is a thread I'm going to refer any newbie to.

Don't worry about mowery, he's a 19 year old just out of high school who claims he's knocking down $150K. I guess if you throw in his alter ego, coolweb, that's $75K each.

How can you lose when you try to hold the position in bonds? The bonds has been going one way since Feb. man. STRAIGHT DOWN! If only you sold it somewhere in the middle, you could have made 100K at least on 6 lots.

Do you just go in and out long and short faster than you can click it?

TS,

Even the folks, whom you are now verbally sparring with provided some good info, they are just are frustrated because you don't seem to hearing their message. I would probably be frustrated hearing your replies too, but I have already been down your road a few years back. Nobody could tell me otherwise, take what you can from this forum and do what you are going to do. Let us know how it turns out. Best of luck to you and your trading.

Dan

Wow... Who are you???

150k??? I DON'T APPRECIATE FLAT OUT LIES TO BE SAID ABOUT OTHER MEMBERS OF ET.

That's some bull shit Max, what is your reasoning for that?

This is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen.... you not only lost ALL CREDIBILITY by that post, but no one should ever believe a post you ever write again.

I've never claimed to be making even 5k..........

You just posted a flat out lie, why should anyone believe anything you ever say again?

sit tight on your $200k. That'll get you far. At least I have the balls to have an idea and put my money on the line to support it.

First you should learn to read. I never claimed I only have 200K
Quote me if you can.

If you don't have risk-taking tendencies then you don't belong in this game. i advise you to take that $200k and open a pizza shop or something. Then you could probably still make your $363 per day without the risks associated with trading.

Again you prove you cant read. I have more than 200K.
I make a lot more than $363 a day. Did you not see my profit today?
Your reading comprehension is very very poor. About as bad as your trading.

BTW, you should not alllow your confidence to depend so heavily on people. People have always underestimated me throughout my life; thought I was dumb or slow or whatever. Yet my educational background is probably stronger than 99% of the people out there. I recieved my BA in mathematics with honours and also attended Oxford University in England for a masters degree. Now do you think these accomplishments came through listening to what people are telling me I am capable of? When I one day post 400% montly returns over many years, do you think it will be because I listened to your advice?

Truly delusional. There is no way you have a degree in math, otherwise you would know that 400% return a month would grow 25K to 26 billion dollars in 11 months, LOL. Not possible.

You've done nothing but put me down on this thread. You are free to your opinions. It is true that I am in the beginning stages of trading. I am not afraid to lose money to learn lessons from the market. While some people would drop dead upon losing $30,000, I will move forward and continue trying. While others can not come back from a $30,000 loss, I willl. I don't give up.

After you lose $30K, you cant grow a $0 account. Fact.
After you save up another $30K, and lose that too, you will again be at $0.
This is not a pattern than will make you money.

You are clearly just another rat in the pack. Sit on your 200K and keep on making your $363 per day if that makes you happy.
Again, learn to read. I have more than 200K and make a lot more than $363 a day. In fact, I wager I will make more trading than you ever will. That is quite obvious at this point. Oh wait, its already true, you are negative :)

I'm looking for more and one day will find it. I don't see my $30,000 as a complete loss. I've learned a great deal about how powerful size can be and the punch such big size can pack.

A lesson you could have learned for free by reading a $20 book.
Yep, you are kicking ass. :D One of the first lessons of trading. If you think this little lesson has brought you anywhere near profitability, you are in for many many many more rude awakenings.

Obviously, you have nothing to learn hear from real profitable traders. You already know it all.

Have fun losing more money. You are well on your way to your next unecessary blow out.

The only thing I've accomplished in this damn thread is getting my post count up and my blood pressure up a little from someone posting that I have claimed to make 150k a year.

What kind of bull shit is that. What's the word for that, slander? or something like that.

This thread was a fucking waste of my time, I have better things I could have been doing.

This is worse than Jerry Springer
