And here we, once you let the cat out of the bag, you have no control over which way it runs. Now both BTC and Doge are investment (I mean gambling) vehicles. Original intent is irrelevant, shall we say?

Actually, it's very relevant. If your postcard with a couple of new stamps affixed to it falls out of your book because it's wider, heavier and less flexible than a legit bookmark, you don't go back and sue the postcard maker for the cost of the postcard and stamps because it turned out to be a really shitty bookmark.

But let's take it a step further and suppose the postcard has the following printed on it: "This postcard has been created to be a terrible bookmark. We actually put extra effort into making it slick so it will fall of out of your book pretty fast just to be funny." But despite that, you went ahead and bought it because you saw someone you follow on Instagram using it as a bookmark in the latest book he was reading.

And then sometime later when it inevitably fell out of your book, you decided to sue the Instagram guy for promoting a shitty bookmark despite the fact that it was actually designed from the beginning to be a terrible bookmark, and it was even stated as such in writing on the card itself.

No matter how you look at it, a lawsuit like that is just victimhood at its finest with no sense of personal responsibility whatsoever. That's how stupid this doge lawsuit is.

Well luckily we have plenty of stories from ancient times that show us that's a terrible path to take.

I'm no religious expert, but last time I checked, Judas betrayed Jesus and in doing so, Judas GOT THE MONEY he was promised. And then he proceeded to hang himself out of remorse for his actions.

So the lesson here is that there are plenty of shady ways to just get money in this world, but here's the problem:

A ton of people in this world...are willing to sell their souls for money, a lot of money -- they'd do it in a heartbeat, without giving it a second thought.

If you have the chance and opportunity to sue Johnson and Johnson, or Mobil Oil, or Facebook, or 7-11, or Popeyes Fried Chicken.....for $12 million dollars, and win.....Would you do it, even though you know the lawsuit is partially silly/fake, or not right? Hell to the Yea'H

Is that in the original white-paper for the BTC idea? What it INTENDED to be a payment method in it's own right as a currency, or to be a digital catalyst for payments utilizing other currencies?

So they're suing him for 258B for being the most influential person in the markets — by a wide margin? If he's in XYZ everyone & their grandma jumps aboard.

This case sounds like one of those futile attempts in hopes the defendant settles for pocket change.
