Colonel Lindsey (Air Force Reserve) loves war though he never was in a combat situation! Probably having his legs blown off or being blinded would help moderate his enthusiasm. He served in both Iraq and Afghanistan (for a few weeks as a lawyer.) He lied, on his website, about his service (not) in desert storm. He was an Iraq war enthusiast from the git go. Boeing and Nelson Mullins are among his biggest campaign contributors. The latter is a lobbying firm with a couple big defense contractors among their clients, including General Dynamics. He has long served on armed services committees in Congress.
I don't have any problem with his being gay (likely is); why would that matter?, but I have a big problem with some of his positions. I second Lucrum's idea as an appropriate way for him to demonstrate support for military action in the Middle East.
