SO i just saw that horror movie, hotel Rwanda... crazy stuff
"Can't go to school". Government (taxpayer) guarantees loans for virtually anybody. In fact, that's part of the problem. School costs are abusively raised to take advantage of government guarantees. (Not to mention the fact that government-guaranteed loans are likely unconstitutional and therefore against the law.)
"change economy by creating jobs".... The only kinds of jobs the government creates are parasitic, blood-sucking jobs which are a burden to the public sector. It hurts us when government "creates" such jobs.
To "change the economy so that jobs are created" would mean turning back the clock 100 years... to when government was only 15-20% of the economy. To do so, taxes would have to be SLASHED.. along with government employees and social hand outs. Can't hold your hand on your butt waiting for THAT to happen.
I thought the community colleges are already very affordable. Or should the government make sure that I can go to law school and med school?
What if I fail all my classes, should the government continue to pay for my retakes?
And if government orders job creation, who is supposed to take the order and fulfill it?
In the former Soviet Union, a job could be ordered. Literally, there was no unemployment. If you needed a job at a certain factory, a job would be created especially for you.

Agree on all three points so if a person decides to go to Law School they had better be ready to carve their own path. An offer probably isn't forthcoming unless you come from a top school and you graduate near the top of your class. Even then you may have some trouble. Once you get admitted to the bar you take that piece of paper and you run with it. Get your butt down to the local county court house and do pro bono until you make a name for yourself or until you get recognized. Deduct all of your expenses on Schedule C. Force a few of your clients to pay you a few bucks so you can prove you are engaging in a profit generating venture. You gotta get creative.
Damn, I should be getting paid for this. Calling all unemployed lawyers. www.probonolegal.com is available at Godaddy.com. Get your butt over there and reserve it and start giving your services away. Need a law library or access to Lexis Nexis? Get in touch with your school and tell them what you're doing. Ask for help. If that don't work call the largest law firms in your area and tell them what you are doing and tell them you need their help. If THAT doesn't work, call the Senior Judge at your largest county courthouse and tell him/her to call that largest law firm and demand they let you use their law library so you can do your research. You may piss a few people off by doing the latter but do what you have to do if all else fails. Now...let's see how long it takes for this domain name to get taken.
