That's not a an apples to apples comparison because publicly traded companies have so much more liquidity making the distinction in the as if even shows lack of knowledge in valuing equities.
TTM and positive cash flow are likely what's bringing it up to there. Add in some airmail deliveries and I'm sure Bezos will have more to brag about and another $20 billion in market cap soon.
The companies negative eps is guaranteed to clear up so all assets on that balance sheet last I checked were at $80 billion and it's fairly valued if you want a 2:1 book value at $160 billion and a little more.
Is it important to know this fundamental value if trading intraday

my personal experience.. i was short from 90 to 140... then stayed away.. now am long from 270s to 400s..
