I find Jack's contributions an incredible gift.
Sad to hear others aren't able to appreciate his work. Probably later.

I have read numerous of his posts, both recent and older, but never found anything of value in it, for the sole reason that it was never substantiated.Quote from optionpro007:

Well, in this case it was to be expected. And I would broaden the class of threads where he is allowed to interfere with those threads that are about him.Quote from cgroupman:
Just a casual observer, but I find it ironic that the self-fulfilling prophecy of Mr. Hershey taking over the thread, well as you can see.
I did not mean people in general; this rule would only apply to you of course. I thought that was obvious.Quote from jack hershey:
To have people contribute in threads they create as the only contributors is comething you may want to rethink.
Man o man, there MUST be a simpler way to say this, whatever it means. Djeez!!!
You do not represent the premier personages of the conventional orthodoxy. These people, in my opinion, need to deal with the voids that are still present.

Saying eg. that you should exit a long when you strategy implies taking a short, and vv. is in itself very obvious.
Stating the obvious without ANY proof of concept is iritating.
Using 20-fold the number of words I used above, and above all the type of words, is downright charlatanistic.
I think the man suffers from a psychic illness that brings feelings of grandiosity.
Unclear messages with unclear wording and with connotations of being the final truth are the warning signs of a dangerous kind of guru; the kind that leads his followers to doom.
This is just my opinion and I learned to recognize his threads and ignore these. But when someone asks a simple question about how to improve a part of HIS strategy, I'm very disturbed when again and again JH comes in to tell that his whole approach is old-fashioned and should be changed to some vague conceptual vision thing stuff.
That is just self-centered and off-topic. This happens very often, and therefore I would request him to abstain from interfering in others' threads.

You are making a very BIG point here. So was I.
I create different things in different people. Some get iritated and others take on the task of substantiating, for themselves in their own ways, what is on the table.
The building block of recognizing that a well chosen short entry is THE best exit for a properly held long action, was not as obvious to the person I was speaking to as it was for you when you took the trouble to go back over some of my prior posts at some point or other.
He was a person who got my popint of personalizng stuff by personally substantiating it.
And let me go further by turning the substantiating coin over and focussing some light on it.
There is no value to anyone in someone else proving or substantiating anything on that person's behalf.
Read the above a few times to get this obvious statement under your belt and above your belt all the way up and over your head to where it normally resides for you, apparently.
Get really iritated with yourself for once.
There is no value one anything in life that is not earned by intellectual work. Deep steady purposeful work.
Then, do not work on anything I have posted; skip all of it and go on about your business as usual. There is no value in your changing, one iota, anything that is what makes you what you are.

Stick with these well thought out and totally substantiated person views of yours. I have put them to my tests and find that you blew it

Nothing. You just remind me of some other guys that think it unneeded to express themselves clearly and imply that people should put effort in understanding them instead of the other way around.Quote from jack hershey:
Do you believe I have a pony tail?? What did I do to prove and substantiate that?
