Yeah, even if that was intraday, I wouldn't be able decipher it.
But the post says the preferred time frame for this strategy is 5 to 15 minutes anyway.
Once it passed a certain fib level it was a new impulse wave downward. Basic EW.
Could manipulation happen over multiple days? Why Not?
Could we be thinking too short-term?
Could Smart money have more time horizon than we do?
The accumulation, manipulation, distribution was suggested by a recent poster.
so I studied the material and posted a 4Hour chart to highlight an observation that the tail of a wick stopped EXACTLY at a previous wick high. It seemed a bit too perfect. How does something like that happen?

So the answer to price movement is Elliot Wave? Expansion and Contraction. Could be getting somewhere here.
I do like that price expands and contracts. wave expansion, contraction. it does simplify the noise for me.
I do like how these swings seem to have an agenda from people with more money than I do.
Anyway. back to my original question. Would love to have smart money comment on their tactics, but then again, that is very entitled of me to request.

A,M,D is a Power of Three (PO3) concept popularized by Inner Circle Trader's (ICT) Market Maker's Buy/Sell Model (mmxm, mmbm, mmsm).
Imho, it's a repackaging of Wyckoff's Accumulation, Mark Up/Down, Distribution schematics. When confronted about the lack of attribution, he created a video to address and deny it yet one can just take ICT's graphics and it lines up with Wyckoff's schematics exactly. ICT just substituted 'mark up/down' with 'manipulation'.
Afaik, ICT has claimed authorship of 'Smart Money Concepts' (SMC) and whether that is true or not is left to one's own discernment.
There are tons of vids and content on YT/fintwit by him as well as avid students and knockoffs. Some successful, many are not. Like most professions that are based on merit, there are many paths up the mountain and most that quit have more to do with personal issues than any chosen methodology. Much of his audience is geared toward those in their 20's.
Another definition of 'smart money' is 'whatever is happening now, SM has already positioned itself and extracting profits.'
As for the 'To The Tick' (TTT) phenomenon, it does occur more often than chance.

It's more just the ebb and flow of market makers hedging than it is manipulation. Naked shorting is what I would consider manipulation...and spoofing etc.

Price expanding and contracting is present all the time. Elliott Waves are not.
so where does EW start and stop?
EW is about - if .... else.
For example 3 waves up (or down) can be an ABC correction depending on prior trend or it can be 123 of 5 wave impulse if certain parameters are met. But far more to it than simple counts to 3 or 5 to be able to explain in a post or two.
