i wish i could be more enthusiastic about the market. but thanks to the war party we have a tremendous deficit and a dollar that is headed south. jobs are being shipped overseas at an unprecendented rate and while we supposedly had great gdp numbers this past week jobs are still being cut by our biggest corporations. NOW i hear the same chickenhawks squawking about Iran and Syria with more lies about WMD. God i miss my old country. guys, this ain't yo daddy's republicans....i don't recognize these clowns.

Excuse me, but I think that you have that backwards. The wealthy owe their wealth to the people doing the work that generates the wealth.

A "poor" guy can always do something to get by. But just try getting rich unless it's on the back of some lowly worker.

Let's think about this one. Buying beer does what? Creates more jobs, and makes brewery owners more wealthy! (To say nothing of the American pretzel industry)

But buying a Bentley, a Picasso, or skiing in Switzerland creates very few American jobs. Last I heard, capacity was running in the 70% range - that offers very little incentive to build new factories.

We need more beer sales to drive the economy, not more champaign sales.

(Isn't it amazing how the rank and file Republicans just don't think?)

Isn't it amazing how some people just have no concept of numbers? How many "Bentleys" or "Picassos" do you think a rich guy will buy? Somehow I don't think if he makes $10B he will spend more than $1B on those stupid trinkets. The rest will be invested in order to make more money.

But why are we even debating this? We have had the live experiment with communism/socialism in Europe and capitalism in the US. Haven't you heard?

Please enlighten me on the last factory built by a billionaire? Speculating in the stock or bond market is not investing in jobs for America. Most billionaires I know of are trying to cut jobs, not create them.
