Sure you can, swing trading comes to mind.

I meant a *real* job where you're expected to do actual work. Unless you're some kind of genius your job performance will suffer and sooner or later you'll be fired.

I know swing trading can be a good option and I will try to plan about my future trading because I cannot leave it.

I was doing my trading and improving with each day but since when I got a real job, my trading has affected badly and I am not able to trade properly. Is it possible to manage trading with real job?
Quote from kid.fx.cross:
I set up a paper account at ib to test this very question
the rules were I could only make a trade every 4 hours
I figured, if you had a real job you could trade once when you woke up
again before you showed up for work
once on your lunch break
and again when you got off work
the results were disastrous
I traded the same strategy I trade with real money
I have it set up so I can survive a doctor's appointment, or a trip to the grocery store, or a computer failure
but not everyday
you need to be there
just showing up every 4 hours doesn't cut it for me
especially in forex, where all the money is made or lost in less than five minutes
