to make 5% you have to make one tick a day net of brokerage with 10000 shares.
You can't just say that, as you don't know the size of the account and how much margin 2:1 stock, 4:1 25k+ or.
If you've got the money ie 10k+ learn to daytrade futures, forex is pretty much game over sadly. ICmarkets about the only option worth a shot sadly.

leverage up the account 500% with NQ and just roll the contracts.. there is your 60% annual return. the catch is a 20% drop in the NDX wipes you out... so better pray you get rich enough to reduce leverage before the 20% drop happens.

I have done it for a couple month in a real time journal here. There was very little interest so I quit posting.
I don't do it anymore as my swings have become longer term. I usually double a long term hold of SPY.
yeah who cares about a 2X buy n hold lol.... everyone wants to make 50% per year with 1% draw down max.
people are blind.. the market is screaming technology revolution, yet most are still have their heads buried... or too devoted to 'back testing' trying to find the 50% return.
there is a problem of time :how many journals can anyone read?
also unless the journal shows charts and explanation why the trade was taken there is hardly any point in reading the journal.
it is good for the poster as a record but this is of limited use unless an analysis is done of why the trade worked or did not work.
No charts. Explanations are there. It can be done.
