My view is that "trading for tics" is nonsense. But if one guy demonstrates he can, well more power to him. That doesn't mean it's easy or "anyone could do it" or that it's the risk/reward sensible way to play.

A successful "one tic warrior" would be an anomaly IMV.

1. I wasn't "brought up" at all. I was kicked out of the house and lived on the streets. There were a few times the kindness of strangers rescued me from an empty belly.

2. What "attitude and manners"? I wasn't referencing your post in particular but rather "in general".
