Is it possible to close an Opt position based on stock price ?

Is it possible to close an Opt position based on underlying stock price and P/L by using an automatic order (Like a TP order) if the 2 positions were not created using a single order ?

I would assume that the answer is "yes", but it might depend on the trading platform you use.
