If your looking for reasons or excuses to give to someone:

Reason 1: To profit from market inefficiencies in the form of mispriced assets.

Reason 2: To prove that the Efficient Market Hypothesis is wrong.

Reason 3: Online gambling is illegal.

Reason 4: Human behavior is gameable.
