Is it common with brokers that only offer paper (PDF) statements of your account/trading activities?

Doing some book-keeping this weekend I notice that there's a discrepancy between my daily trade report in Ninja and my daily statements.
Basically, I see that two of my daily statements have trades ranging from two days. For example, my daily statement from Thursday is showing trades from both Wednesday and Thursday. The statement for Friday is showing trades from both Thursday and Friday.
I took some trades after the electronic close, but no holding through the electronic close and as far as I can tell no trades ranging from one date to the other.
I contacted NT about this, but no answer until tomorrow and figured I could ask here. Are there some rules for when trades are settled which is the explanation here or are the daily statements somehow incorrect?
The solution to this might be to just track this per Ninja's statements, although it doesn't give a quite correct view of my daily performance, IMO.

The TRADE DATE is based on the trading session, which is not necessarily the (Gregorian) calendar date.
For instance, here are 2 pics, one for Today, Sunday 9/25/22, and one for upcoming Thanksgiving. The term "TRADE DATE" is what you are looking for...
This can also be seen easily in CME Holiday Calendars... the first row in the excel sheet is Trade Date.

So, I'll have to sort out the trades from Ninjatrader to match what's contained for each day (date) in my statements. A bit of a hazzle, but I'll manage.
I usually trade only RTH, but have been dabbling a bit in ETH as well lately.
It seems like when book-keeping according to this standard, I had two losing days this week while with the normal calendar day book-keeping I had only one losing day.
Ummmm.... since CME is the master of profits and losses, "normal" calendar bookkeeping does not apply. Sorry.
So, you would agree that for book-keeping purposes the correct way is to use the daily statements as your daily P&L even if that spans between two calendar days?
I only wish Ninjatrader could accomodate that, but I'll manage.
All I'm saying LF is to know the rules. Choosing to invent or personally circumvent official rules to work in your favor is always an option. As long as you understand the invention or changes and realize they would not hold water in case of a problem, then it's just a choice.

I'm used to book-keeping by calendar date, but I now understand the nuances here thanks to you.
I'm done with my book-keeping now. As this isn't tracked electronically/automatically, I copy gross results per each trading day automatically from Ninjatrader and supplement the net results from my broker statements. I simply had to adjust the cut-off points between the various days, so no biggie.
I'll catch up on that story later as I'm just about to log off for the day.
