Probably yes because then there will be more liquidity on the market, i.e. more favorable conditions for us to trade
Agree with you, if majority of traders starts trading exotic pairs then there are chances that trading conditions could improve like spreads, comm. charges and liquidity also would be better.

I know someone who trades SGD/USD and claims he's doing well, so maybe it works out for some people, but it's not something I'd personally do.

What’s the point?? There are much better pairs to trade! Strange, he must know something we don’t

I wondered the exact same thing but he was happy with his trading so who was I to judge. To each their own, I guess.

What’s his timeframe? Long or short term? Unless your getting very low spreads it would certainly cost to much to trade short term

I have no idea. It was a brief conversation months ago, I just shrugged and moved on at the time.

Personally I don't even bother with that. I mean there are so many major and cross currency pairs to choose from that are very profitable.

Yes there is no advantage to trade these messy pairs

Exotic pairs are messy in my opinion however better to stick with one liquid pair in order to make profits from forex trading market.
