This ain't another "Why is the Obvious Not So Obvious". I mean what I say. It doesn't matter whether you are a fundie (FA), techie (TA), or pricey (PA), trend will always be your friend...until proven "otherwise". Of course, I concur that this is easier said than done. But should you be able to tell the difference between a reversal and a pullback, I think you will be at least a head taller than any other trader, here and elsewhere. At any rate, mull over it in your spare time.
Here is my stab at it. Without getting into all sorts of stuff like definitions (which are important), or time frames (which are important), or context (which is vitally important), here is how I see it.I have just done a quick flick thru the pages, and did not see one chart posted!
