Thanks. Same situation here. I guess it's IB server problem, not ours.
One workaround is to login through Account Management. Hope this outage is fixed before the market opens tomorrow. It is scary to be frozen out of one's account when the market is in action.
You can try this to confirm that it is Asian server connection problem.
