Is IB the cheapest broker for larger investors trading frequently?

Have you tried to use US trading platform in Saudi Arabia or China?

IB restricts me whenever I visit Burma. Says it has to do with the Patriot Act in the USA even though Sanctions were lifted before Obama left office. A simple free VPN gets around the Geographic restriction though.

Randy - can you kindly explain to us how the mechanics of selling the order flow to HFT trader works for the sake of full disclosure?
Is it as straightforward as telling a third party investor where our limit orders are sitting, and allowing them to front run us? (I think there is regulation in Europe that bans this)

When i was on assignment in KSA we vpn to Bahrain to access internet.

Also, who can compete with IB on both commission and interest rates (credit &debit) ? I can't find any
No one on interest rate - it is the commission component we are trying to figure out.

I am trying to figure out if IB sells the order flow to HFT as well - not finding much regarding this matter.

Yes, so my conclusion for myself is to stick with IB as any savings on commissions would be offset by financing cost.

Try looking at IB 10k? Would also like to learn about how selling order flows works
