Is homosexuality a choice?

Choice or not, homo's spread AIDS all over the world.. A killer of sorts. Mass murder. They should of kept it in their pants instead of up each others butt.
Girls just wanna have fun.
Homosexuality is a learned choice. They shouldn't be ashamed of themselves. They can get professional help. What was once learned, can be unlearned. If they are strong, they can overcome their perversion.
Looks like I'm not the only one here who's good with patterns.
After thinking about this, I realized something else: You know how you frequently see women who <i>could</i> be hot if only they didn't overeat so much? The ones who would be pretty damn attractive if only they weren't lugging around a couple dozen pounds in extra weight? Well, I can't recall <b>ever</b> seeing a Slavic chick who falls into this category. Not a single one.
It's a study in cultural irony the way these women have Jedi Master willpower regarding food, yet when it comes to personal discipline with drugs & alcohol* they're just as bad as everyone else, if not worse.
*Yes, I realize I'm no Obi-wan with that shit either. Never said I was.

Why do some men/women choose to be pedophiles? Why do some men/women choose to be criminals? Who do some people choose to become fat as a pig? Because they enjoy it. No matter how weird it seems to the rest of us.
Then again, maybe you are right. It is not a choice. And maybe the above are not choices either. Maybe it is a mental disorder of some type.
Ok, this thread has actually caused me to modify my opinion a bit.
I believed until recently that you can't choose your sexual orientation any more than you can 'choose' your ethnicity- and I still think this holds true for the majority of the population.
However, there's apparently a significant minority (low double digit %) of people with ambidextrous sexual predispositions, who really could envision themselves swinging either way. For these people, being straight or gay is an actual conscious choice.

Hmm, if people are born gay, (not a choice), then to be born bisexual is (not a choice) too, right? So the bisexual people do not choose to be bisexual, they attract to both male and female. They are not straight and not homosexual. If the man is bisexual, and he goes with a women, that not make him straight for just that time having sex with a women. He is bisexual always. Not a choice to be straight for him because he is attracted to the female. So I think it is not "conscious choice" like you say Rearden.
