Is God mute?

minimum money given to the terrorists for acquiring the artifact should be a must.

There's right & there's wrong and that's just plain wrong.
Perhaps your moral compass would feel more at home on a pirate ship.

I don't see anything wrong if the terrorists are willing to give up their terror acts once receiving installments of money! We could save a lot of lives! We can also regain our peace of daily life!

Some people of high morality standards may not agree with that!

God may not speak to me all the time, but there is one time when it is clear that God speaks to me. That is during a birthday party of a friend. During that party, that christian friend asks us to pause for a moment and consider if God had anything to say to us. I felt that God wanted me to go to a girl I never met before and told her to be a social worker. I never met her before, yet the inclination to tell her to be a social worker is very strong. Being the coward that I was, I walked to the girl and asked her if social worker had any meaning for her. She broke down into tears and told me that she had always wanted to be a social worker but had not the courage to do so. She asked me why I asked her such question. I told her the truth. She walked home, feeling very encouraged, and so do I. Such incident might not happen again, but on this one occasion, I felt God indeed speaks.

I don't get these guys that are constantly saying God says this and God says that. Is God mute? Maybe he can use sign language to have himself heard? Why doesn't God just come out and say these things instead of being heard through some lowly ape descendants? If were God I would be afraid of something being lost in translation.

"...If you listen to the likes of Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee, the answer, regrettably, is "yes." Jindal, speaking from Iowa, responded to the high court ruling by noting that there is even a higher authority, God, who says that marriage can only occur between a man and a woman. Meanwhile, back home in Louisiana, Jindal's subordinates give the appearance of slow-walking implementation of the Supreme Court ruling. And, for good measure, before decamping to Iowa, Governor Jindal issued a "religious freedom" executive order of the Indiana/Arkansas ilk, even after the Republican Party-dominated Louisiana legislature wisely declined the governor's proposal to enact it as legislation...."

Oh, wait, they got that from a book written by a bunch of farmers 2000 years ago with barely the equivalent of a sixth grade education. Hmmm. EVEN if God says those things, what happened to separation of church and state?
%%
A bunch of farmers, Nitro?? Partly farmers. , kings, judges, King Solomon, King David+ Dr Luke also. Actually, since God is all mighty, all powerful, all knowing; an inacurate translation=NOT a big problem. One little kid asked his dad ''dad does God know we dont believe in him?? LOL Pres T Roosevelt said '' a thorough knowledge of the Bible, is worth more than a college education'' He liked guns,2, especially WINchesters.LOL

right... so new age friends (lots of them in north county san diego - although it the movement seems to be losing steam) who don't believe in the God of the bible but just aspire become like Gods themselves are humble servants but those of us who give credit to the Creator of the universe are doing so out of a sense of our own superiority?
