stu is comfortable rewriting everything to his anti god worldview.
fortunately we have dictionarys which frequently contradict stu's personal views.

i used the word miracle to connote something not explicable by natural laws.
i used the term correctly.

a miracle by definition need only be an amazing natural event.

fortunately we have dictionarys

... which are also useful for learning how to write plurals correctly.

Obviously as a god botherer, you used the word to mean not explicable by natural laws, while obviously disregarding the same dictionary definitions, that tell you a miracle need only be an amazing natural event.

Maybe try them sometimes...dictionaries, that is.

Perhaps there could be some/many amazing natural events, such as creation and big band, that our current level of scientific knowledge cannot comprehend/understand yet! Or maybe never !

Incomplete scientific knowledge doesn't mean big bang is anything less than an amazing natural event, or any more of a miracle.

belief in God—specifically, in supernatural forces that can punish—is a useful evolutionary adaptation..."

In terms of evolutionary adaptation, that would come under the main heading of superstitions.

Nothing like a persnickety troll atheist who misrepresents definitions and then takes statements out of context while worrying about typoss.

if you were trying to be cute but not misleading you should have said... one way to define a miracle... or a secondary usage of the term miracle...

your quote is misleading given that I was using the term miracle properly.

I did do.
I said a miracle need only be an amazing natural event.
Just another case of your obsession getting in the way of your spelling, reading and comprehending.

wow... once again you mislead the reader.

you actually wrote.. ( I will underline the words you left out, below.) The reader can see you were aware of the difference in connotation because you left out 2 critical words.

stu, actually wrote...
