Is Forex an Addiction ?

For me, Forex is not an addiction but a source of information. People like me who trade are not addicted to it; instead, we enjoy reading and researching it in order to expand our knowledge
 
Yes. Forex can turn into an addiction and you might not even realise it. You should not know how you react to your wins and losses. Imo, we should take a stoic approach to trading to avoid getting caught into the storm of overtrading.
 
If you suffer with an addictive personality I can see why you might become addicted but no I wouldn't say I am. It's a means to an end to me.
 
I think if we do something still on the portion it is not addicted too much, like as gamers they play the game all days long considered as addicted to the game, forex if they always in front of the screen all days long considered as addicted forex, but if we work on a specific time to forex, it is not addicted, just get the portion that we need, because trader wants to catch profit from currency changes.
 
It depends on how you do it. If you don’t keep a check on your emotions and keep trading whether you have a plan or not, you are addicted to it. You need to know when to stop so that you are not crossing the limit and becoming greedy.
 
Forex can be an addition if you don’t trade with the right mindset. The risk associated with trading is high, and many traders get so carried away by the profit-making potential in the market that they ignore their losses. This leads to overtrading or revenge-trading, which can cause traders considerable losses.
 
This is why traders are asked to put a limit to what they do. If you go beyond your capabilities and don’t follow your risk management strategy, forex trading can become an addiction for you.

I agree! Moreover when traders start making winning trades they start overtrading which eventually results in losing and over time leads to addiction where a trade keeps on trading even when he is losing.

Depends on your trading style. If you make gambling of it which is full up and down moments, emotions, then it will definitely get addictive even to those who is not predisposed to that. That's why it is not recommended to trade without trading plan and risk more than 2% of equity per trade
