Is Finviz the best stock screener there is? What does their elite add?

Is it the best one out there? I certainly love it, and the fact that its free. Are there any better ones (or arguably better or comparable ones) out there? What does the $24.95 monthly version of Finviz add (to the stock screener or anything else) - is it worth it?

Basically, real time charts/quotes & some added features.

It's worth, if you think it's worth!

Personally, I just stick with the free version but I wouldn't mind paying for the added functionality if I have more cash at hand.

marketsmith is awesome if you are a canslim person...and even if you're not really, it is just based off of O'neil's methods. Not at all worth the $ though IMO.

The free version of FV provides all the info I require.
I use TV for pre-market screening and it works fine
as well.

There are dozens of useful free resources available
if you know where to look. Knowing what you need
is the hard part.

I avoid recurring fees unless I cannot get the data
otherwise. It's not prudent to waste your money,
especially if you are just starting out.

If your an active daytrader who trades momentum stocks on the move and lack the tools to screen them with real-time data & can't afford costly software like Trade Ideas. I'd say it's worth the investment.

If your an swing, investor/or someone who prepares setups ahead of time and throws them into a watchlist. Your fine with just the free version.

depending on what type of screening you are looking to do, fundamental vs technical? TC2000 is what i use for the technical side of things, but its not free. Having said that still WELL worth it for me

Have used FinViz, Barchart and ThinkOrSwim scanners... ThinkOrSwim was best because it allowed me to combine stock moving averages and indicators as well as homemade indicators. So, for example TOS allowed searching for stocks that have appropriate price and volume and have been in a strong linear uptrend for the last 4-5 months and are currently in a pullback with a well-formed bullish hammer whose low is below the lower Bollinger Band and whose close is not more than halfway across the two bands, and similar detailed searches.

Can you point me to where I can find this , or any screener functionality, on Think or Swim? I haven’t found a screener function. What am I missing?

Actually, never mind, i found it. All this time i've been looking for a good scanner and this has been staring me in the face.
Now to figure out how to use it. I'm sure its pretty intuitive
