Plot

A deadly virus called "Captain Trips", engineered as an advanced biological weapon by the government, is accidentally released across America and the world, causing 99.4% of the entire world's population to die. The 0.6% who survive struggle to find their bearings and rebuild civilization in the aftermath of the plague. They all dream about two opposing figures: Randall Flagg, the Dark Man, and Mother Abagail, who is receiving visions from God. The survivors split into two factions, one led by Flagg, and one led by Mother Abigail, and prepare for the final stand between good and evil.

Flagg is in a lot of King's books. Sometimes he is called Walter O'Dimm, or the Man in Black. He spans various books and sequels and pops up all over the place. Its like King's personal boogeyman.

Report from Los Alamos National Laboratory:

The novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is a recently emerged human pathogen that has spread widely since January 2020. Initially, the basic reproductive number, R0, was estimated to be 2.2 to 2.7. Here we provide a new estimate of this quantity. We collected extensive individual case reports and estimated key epidemiology parameters, including the incubation period. Integrating these estimates and high-resolution real-time human travel and infection data with mathematical models, we estimated that the number of infected individuals during early epidemic double every 2.4 days, and the R0 value is likely to be between 4.7 and 6.6. We further show that quarantine and contact tracing of symptomatic individuals alone may not be effective and early, strong control measures are needed to stop transmission of the virus.

Interesting, but not sure whether this is an acceptable study.

The hysteria continues.

I suppose anything to take people's mind off of the impeachment debacle.
you do realize that he did get impeached, right?
on a side note, I'm willing to pay for you and your family to get on any cruises to Italy, fuck I even throw in the airfare on spirit airline to any US port.

President Trump was acquitted and so not impeached. See how that works jackass?

Yeah, Trump got impeached and his approval hit all-time highs. Are you really suggesting that impeachment was good for the democrats?

It was a disaster.
