Is everyone in a fullblown panic because of coronavirus?

Well, no, they are in sell mode because the prospect of a pandemic will affect most sectors negatively. People are dying from this thing fairly quickly, and it is spreading quickly. I would not say "panic" selling, but reasoned exiting of companies that rely on the consumer for profit. If lots of consumers are sick or dying, they can't spend money.
CNBC has not said boo about casino stocks today. I shorted WYNN this morning just under $137 and I plan on holding it, although it may run here in the last half hour as day-traders cover to flatten out.

Y'all should expect to start seeing lefty reports saying that climate change is releasing bacteria and viruses from glaciers that are melting so your collective dicks will be falling off soon and it will only get worse. Because as we know, there were never any plagues on earth before Donald Trump was elected. Not sure how that squares with growing concern about third world diseases returning in the homeless camps in Dem Plantation Cities. Probably that is an inconvenient truth. There should not be a panic but it is a serious virus that is quite contagious and is spreading rather quickly....

A simulation showed the potential for this thing to kill 65 million people. It is a huge deal. If it goes pandemic we are all fucked. There is really no other way to put it. We are tape-your-windows-and-live-off-dried-food fucked if that happens.
Personally, I think this will be the start of our fall back to normal stock market numbers. The election in November will just finish the market off. Welcome to the new recession. Travel, casino, and hotel stocks are going to be the first to plummet here in the next few weeks when Chinese New Year hits and no one is going to the party.

Wow...65 million in 18 months. Sounds like a lot until you realize that 97.5 million people die every 18 months without the virus.
How many people do you know that died in the last 18 months? If you knew of 2 people that died in the last 18 months, then with coronavirus you would've known of 3 people. That's how little it will effect your lives on a worst case scenario.
