Did lake shore drive really get like 18 foot waves smashed on it?? I doubt it but thats what "they" were saying.

No, I heard there were 14-18 footers on open water, but there was enough of an ice pack along the lake shore to prevent any real water spray from hitting the drive. LSD was still closed down all night and this morning due to accidents and abandoned vehicles.

I walked from my downtown apt to CBOT this morning. LaSalle is completely dead..there aren't even cars on it.

I think it's gorgeous, but I dont' have to dig out my car.
