Aside from the fact that Trump has condoned violence at multiple rallies in the past, I'm sure that not one of the 60M+ people who will vote for him today has ever participated in violent criminal activity.

It's a very convenient excuse to say that everything he says is entertainment. Just make it impossible to counter him with his words. If you look at his record he has no problem with capital punishment (wants to expand it) and has no problem with selling weapons to Saudi Arabia so they can keep bombing Yemeni civilians. Obviously he's too old to be beating people up himself. Seemed to support Republican congressmen who use physical force though.
