More nonsense. The atmosphere around Trump is nothing like the atmosphere in Germany.
What we are seeing is a reaction against global elites who have been trying to undermine the sovereignty of various nations. The proper term is nationalism, or put another way, reassertion of national sovereignty. We see it with Putin, and we see it with Trump. It is the total antithesis of the Obama/Hillary/Bush approach, with its slavish obsequiance to international bodies and unelected international bureaucrats. Trump's simple call to defend our national borders touched a deep nerve with voters, much to the alarm of the elites.
I fail to see how enforcing our existing immigration laws or refusing hundreds of thousands of muslim immigrants/refugees when they have ample alternatives closer to home in muslim countries represents a revival of Nazism.

I get your point, but I think there is a big difference between recognizing that certain groups bring lots of problems with them and scape-goating a minority for persecution. I see nothing wrong or immoral about saying we are not taking in muslims, or in favoring Christian refugees.
Our refugee law lists as one of the basic criteria to qualify as a refugee "religious" persecution, ie what Christians in the middle east are experiencing. It escapes me why the people doing the persecuting, muslims, must be treated as well as the persecuted.
There is a huge intellectual trap that the media and obama want us to fall into. That is treating islam as a religious belief, say on a par with being a Methodist. Islam is an all-encompassing system of repressive government that is justified by the writings of a guy 1400 years ago who claimed to be getting instruction from God. If Karl Marx had claimed to be getting divine revelations would we have just surrendered to communist aggression on the grounds that to oppose it would be an infringement of religious liberty?
