Why is this even a question. It is obvious that Trump is fascist.
Did Trump ever actually read a book, any book? Maybe someone explained Hitler's writings to him if that person was ever able to lasso Trump's attention for more than a minute. (Which is more than his ghost writer, Tony Schwartz, was ever able to do.) And if Trump did indeed keep a book of Hitler's speeches by his bed, I suspect it was his version of a snuggly teddy bear because Melania slept in another room, if even on the same floor, building or city. I think Trump was drawn to Hitler's writings because he found his soulmate, his other half; just the proximity to such writings made him warm all over.Born to a German father he studied the writings of Hitler who he admired as a really good example of how a narcissist can make good and used his playbook as a template? yep.
Hitler was a socialist, the state is all and that's all.
Corporations capturing regulators is fascism.
Gov't. coercing corporations to censor free speech is socialism.
Puppets et all, pained and twisted.
Having fun with words are you?Hitler was a socialist, the state is all and that's all.

Along with whatever other conditions he probably has is a lower-end IQ, which is a certainty. His slippery and feral nature should not be mistaken for actual intelligence.I've always suspected that along with the ADHD, he is dyslexic but hid it.
Ivana (for Trumpets that was the first wife, attention span being brief) certainly used the copy of Hitler's speeches on the bedside table for years, against him.
He read it, very slowly and repeatedly I'm sure and did his best to copy the formula for success.
Earlier in his life he did what he could to copy Baron Hilton's life. Later realising he didn't have the magic, Hitler was a good peer.
